CHENEY: "I think Republicans should come back into the light. I think that, look, it certainly seems to be a situation where, when you combine the fact that the party that is in power in the presidency tends not to do well in midterms with the reality of what we’re seeing in terms of the economy, in terms of the policy decisions that have been made, in terms of corruption. I think one of the most interesting things in some of the polling I’ve seen recently is the extent to which people are concerned about corruption in our leaders at levels they haven’t been before, that they haven’t been concerned about it as an issue. And I think that, you know, if the election, if we could count on the fact that the election results were going to be respected, then I think it’s clear the House will flip. And I think the Senate is too close to call.”
