EXCERPT:
GAETZ: "The President is willing to negotiate. I had lunch with him at the White House a couple weeks ago. He lamented the fact that Democrats were leaving town, that they weren't rolling up their sleeves and staying to work out some of these issues. He authorized the Vice President to make offers that would have been compromise on behalf of the President. But what the President is not willing to compromise on are the outcomes. He is willing to negotiate inputs, whether it’s more or less wall, more or less fencing or slats or drones or technology. What he won’t compromise on is the safety of the American family or the protection of the American economy that’s needed by insuring that we don’t just have flows and flows of illegal immigration with no ability to manage it or insure that it is economically beneficial to American citizens. Look, I know who the President is negotiating for. I don’t really know who Democrats are negotiating for. Are they really negotiating for illegal immigrants?"
