ELLISON: "It’s an important piece of evidence. It’s an important angle. We need more angles. We’re asking the public to send more information to the Minnesota bureau of criminal apprehension, because we’re trying to get down to the truth. What do I think about the video? Well, as a prosecutor in this state, I’m reluctant to start characterizing what the video shows or doesn’t show, but it’s obvious that it shows a few things. One is that his feet were on the ground when the car backed up, and then turned that the angle of the wheels was away from him, not in favor, and that the second and third shot he was clearly out of the range of the vehicle. But it may also show other things. So I don’t want to be the one to do like a TV pundit characterization. I want to act like what I am, which is a prosecutor, and continue to ask people to share information so that we can get as much information about this situation as we can.”
