GUTHRIE: “You weren’t scared?”
PETERSON: “No. There was no time. Things went so fast.”
GUTHRIE: “Were you a coward?”
PETERSON: “Never.”
GUTHRIE: “That’s what they called you, ‘the coward of Broward County.’”
PETERSON: “I know. I never had a chance. I never thought, even for a moment, of being scared or a coward because I was just doing things the whole time. It didn’t even — it never entered my mind.”
GUTHRIE: “Did you freeze?”
PETERSON: “No.”
