Ron Insana: ‘There Is No Predicate for This War’ But They Try to Justify It Over and Over Again

‘I mean, the fact is President Trump abandoned the JCPOA that was in place‘

EXCERPT:

INSANA: “And I hesitate to play this card. But as someone who is at ground zero on 9/11, right, there was a reason that we went to war with Afghanistan. And again, as was just said, you can make the argument about Iraq, even though it turned out to be, you know, the wrong decision. There is no predicate for this war. I mean, the fact is President Trump abandoned the jcpoa that was in place, that President Obama put in abandoned diplomacy twice without any effort to conclude an agreement with Iran to limit their nuclear capabilities and just went straight to war without telling anybody. And that is not the recipe for success. Even in Vietnam, they over and over and over again try to justify what was going on in that part of the world, you know, based on the spread of communism and the fear that went with it at the time, there”
