EXCERPT:
CASEY: “Well, Jen, a good part of that is high prices. And we know that even after these huge multinational corporations got these record tax cuts, tax cuts we had rarely seen in recent American history, they got these huge tax breaks. They used most of that new revenue they had to have stock buybacks, and then they jacked up their prices, the price of food, the price of household items. And people — people not only feel it every week, but I think they know what it is and it’s greed. It’s greedflation. I’ve talked a lot about, and the president has as well, shrinkflation, where they’re shrinking the size of the product and not shrinking the price.”
