EXCERPT:
LEONARD JR.: “Well, you know, first of all, Thanksgiving is the most inexpensive meal of the year. You got turkey that’s $2, $3 a pound. You have pie, you have mashed potatoes, you have gravy. It’s not that expensive. You know, we look at it more by head. A lot of our customers today are just — we have this dinner for eight. So you can buy a box. You got a turkey, you got your sides, you got rolls, you got pies, you got everything in there. And we notice a lot of people are just ordering a dinner for eight or a dinner for 12 this year. So we’re looking at Stew Leonard’s right now, like, prices are about the same as last year. Some things are up, some things are down, but overall, we don’t see any price increase here at Stew Leonard’s.”
