I testified in front of the Judiciary Committee about the censorship program and I encouraged them to look at the McCarthy period and for Democrats to not replicate that, not make the red scare go blue. But they didn't. You know, they attacked the witnesses on censorship as being 'Putin lovers' and saying that they were apologists for insurrectionists. These were journalists that they said they doubted whether they were true journalists. The ranking member actually suggested one of the journalists could be arrested. It is a very scary time right now on Capitol Hill."
