The first is obviously the battlefield, so making that progress so that Russia, first, cannot advance itself, but also can see the human cost to its own forces, its own economy, and helping Ukraine get to that point and have what it needs to be able to put some of Russia’s most precious assets at risk. That is one way to make them think harder about whether continuing on the battlefield or being willing to talk is in their better interests. So, that’s one axis.”
