Brute bashes train operator with metal scooter in NYC subway — then makes escape through underground tunnel: cops

The male suspect, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, was still on board the No. 5 train as the 46-year-old operator tried to clear it at the last stop, Eastchester-Dyre Avenue, just after midnight, according to authorities and sources.
