Obama on Midterm Results: Majority of America Prefer Normal, Not Crazy

OBAMA: “And so we enjoy the performative aspects of making stuff up. And part of that is because we don’t think there are consequences to it. Now what we have learned from the election of my successor, from the pandemic, from the insurrection, it is actually the stories we tell do matter. I like to think that part of what happened in this election is people said, "Okay, you know what? Some of the stuff is getting a little too crazy." It turns out that there is a majority of country that does prefer normal, not crazy. And that is a basis for hope.”
